This is the first time I ran the Wicked half in Tucson. I have completed the Phoenix one before. Similar to that one, this was at a community park that had a nice walking/bike path that ran alongside a river for a good part of the run. The course was flat and descent. There are some people wearing costumes, so that’s fun. This year I didn’t wear a costume. I would pick either the Tucson or the Phoenix, but not both. I have signed up for both, but the Phoenix one is obviously a different course, but it is the same shirt and medal. I don’t think I need two, so I likely won’t show up to the Phoenix one. But the medals are cool, so do one of them for sure.
