Was the inaugural running of this race so I forgive the organizers. Packet pickup at Pinkberry? Timing chips weren’t disposable, were more like elastic anklets everyone had to wear and return. Instead of a race t-shirt, we got reusable collapsible water bottles. I think in later years they added medals and chip timing, and special recognition if it is your first 5K. Nice course from Crocker Park along the river of course. Discounts for repeat runners.

Was the inaugural running of this race so I forgive the organizers. Packet pickup at Pinkberry? Timing chips weren’t disposable, were more like elastic anklets everyone had to wear and return.
