Tornado Alley 5K & 10K

The Algona Tornado Alley fun run offers a 1 miler as well as a 5K & 10K on the weekend of Algona’s Band Day Festival. The route begins and ends at Algona City Hall. Enjoy a flat, fast route that is run entirely within the city limits.

Trophies for overall male and female champions in each race. Medals to the top 3 in each division. All who participate receive a t-shirt, post race refreshments and are entered into a prize drawing after the race.

Have fun while you run! Costumed runners are welcome. Prizes will be awarded to the best group costume, best individual costume and most creative costume.

Stick around to enjoy the Algona Band Day Festival. The 1 p.m. parade downtown features multiple bands.
