This was a small race, only 33 folks completed the half marathon (for comparison, about 60 did the 5k and about 25 did the 10k). The course was out and back 4 times on a side walk, which got a little boring, however there some elevation change (my watch clocked 685 ft) which kept things a little interesting/challenging. There were two water stops, one at the start/finish area and one at the turnaround point, so we passed them multiple times. Minimal crowd support however the runners were fairly encouraging to one another.
Pros:
-parking was easy, I arrived about an hour prior to race start and parked within 50 feet of the start/finish line
-easy to check in and grab your shirt a few min prior to the race
-volunteers were enthusiastic
-communication emails for participants with instructions prior to the race were sufficient
Cons:
-minimal crowd support
-repetitive course, not very scenic
-t-shirt did not have the year on it
-aid station at the turnaround ran out of gatorade towards the end (last lap)
