One of only two half marathons in Louisville…the Pasta Run is 95% TRAIL! Following along the creek bed, these tree lined paths are quiet, flat, hard packed dirt and fun. The first part of the race is the 5K…and then crosses into Lafayette with a 1/4 mile hill at mile 4-5 and a refreshing water stop at the top. The course then is an out and back, heading East on the Dirt Bike Path…adding 2 more water stations.
Our Story
We are runners…and grew up running in the 1980’s. Back then it was a ritual to CARBO Load the night before any race and we all love pasta. Runners love pasta…so we are bringing the 2 together, but in a different order! RUN then Eat…listen to some Italian music, have some ice cream and enjoy some drinks.
A Different Running Event
The goal is to create an “EXPERIENCE” with all our running races rather than the run itself. We design unique gifts, finisher medals and create an atmosphere with the decorations, music and even the race bibs to make you feel like you are in a themed festival or event. This is why we change courses, gifts, awards and themes every year! Something new for you to return!
Something for Everyone
Our races add activities, food, local and national sponsors to make you feel at home. We encourage ALL ABILITIES to participate, including walkers and children. We love running…and we want you to as well. Creating a more family, non-competitive atmosphere is what makes our races unique and fun. So bring everyone and enjoy the day. we still do Chip Timing for those who need times.
A FAMILY DAY of PASTA, and a little running!

This was a real cool race that offered great swag and a small town run vibe. Very nice pasta bowl and spoon with a nice wooden finisher medal. Pasta afterwards was a great touch. Course ended up being a little longer than 3.1 miles (closer to 3.5) and not marked accurately (2 mile marker was more like 1.5). Minor things but hopefully can be tightened up for future races!
