This race was orifinally scheduled for mid-July, but postponed til September due to storms, so not sure if it’ll go back to summer or stay in the fall.
Fun race around Flushing Meadows Park, mainly flat, one little incline, and lots of shade. The cool part was we ran through the Shea parking lot, and ran the bases, as they have the bases in the parking lot, i def touched them all.
My time was OK, but life’s been getting in the way so I didn’t have a time goal.
Lots of fun swag – love teh tshirt (cotton), post-race had water, cookies, flavored water and bagels. Any race where i can get a large black/white cookie is a fav!
Highly recommend.
