Great race production, kudos to the race directors for keeping runners up to date with emails of information about the race. Very well organized!!! Lots of course support and a well marked course. Course is a little challenging with steady uphill grades for most of the way. I kept waiting to crest the hill to be able to run downhill and it never came😂. Being a low lander I could feel the change in elevation and it took me about 41/2 miles to finally catch my breath. Only part of the race I didn’t like was when we made that final left turn with about a mile to go and you joined the 5k walkers & runners. The road got very crowded with people walking side by side forcing you to weave in and out of people which after running 12 miles was a pain. Overall I really enjoyed the race and would recommend it.
Nice but challenging

Course support was awesome at the water stations. They had volunteers handing out water, gatorage and some stations had oranges, bananas and GU packets.
It was mostly road and people driving on the road were very courteous to the runners. It isn’t a big race so I really enjoyed it. I wasn’t tripping or banging into anyone and the staging area after the race was big enough NOT to be crowded. This is why I like smaller races
Scenery – mostly farm land –
Production – the day of the race – went really well, at the end of the race they had a food station with all kinds of great stuff for the runners.
Race Swag – The Tech Shirts are awesome and the same with the medal.
Race Pick-Up day – It was POURING rain and they had to move from outdoors to indoors at another location. Hopefully they will have everything indoors so we can move among the vendors.
Overall, I give this race an average rating.

Everything worked out seamlessly. Beautiful wide open spaces on the course. Lots of support, people and signs at every turn, they had plenty of supplies at each aid station despite the fact that I was one of the last to finish. Lots of bathrooms. I loved the finish line music and cheering. Oranges, bananas, sports drinks & gels and water. Bread and chocolate milk along with massage therapists at the end. The shirt was actual athletic material, High quality. I LOVE my medal. In the 1970s the Teton Dan broke and flooded Rexburg and the surrounding area. The community had to do a marathon of clean up and rebuilding their town and their lives. The Teton down Marathon commemorates how we can all overcome huge obstacles in our lives. I wish they didn’t focus so much of their marketing around the word “Dam”. They use it as a swear word.
