A tough coastal run leading to Table Cape, included 1,900m of climb although there were no serious inclines. A great excuse to visit Tasmania! I traversed sand, bitumen for 2k, ploughed fields, seaweed, volcanic looking rock pools, stones, boulders, pine needles, bog, cushion like earth, fallen leaves, you named it and it was underfoot. All the time crisscrossing from cliff top to sea and back with some stunning views and near silence. Well organised with well stoked refreshments on route. A long day but a pleasant 20 to 25 degrees throughout the run (and walk).
