Even though EVERYBODY missed the first turn and ran up to 2 miles extra, I really enjoyed this race. Yes, it was hilly but it’s PA…that’s expected. Not anywhere close to how I wanted it to go but I really enjoyed the weather, the views, and even all the smells. We were cheered on by so many animals! Around mile 9, I made a friend and we ran/walked and talked until we finished. I’d definitely do this race again! Pizza and whoopie pies at the finish!

Pros-
– It doubles with the Wineglass Marathon in New York.
Cons-
– The course is scenic but the whole course smells like cow manure. You will need a strong stomach to finish.
– Unless you ae planning to run a sub 2:30 half, you will need to know the course. They had picked up all of the cones leading to the finish by the time I got there so I had to run around a while to find the finish line. I ended up running close to 15 miles all together.
