A great reason to get up early on Turkey Day and duke it out with some fast high schoolers and local runners. The course is a dud — an out and back on the roads around the school. But there’s some hills. And a reason to get the lead out: age group medals and meticulously timed. Great food and local freebies round out a well-run event.

1-This race benefits a great cause, Tennessee Children’s Home.
2-They have awesome custom finisher metals.
3- There is lots of food afterward, chicken tenders, pizza, tacos from Costa Vida, sausage biscuits, bananas, and apple slices.
4- the route is a little hard, but it’s scenic country roads.
5- They do awards in 5 year increments.
6- They always do great swag.
