The South Pasadena Tiger Run 5K/10K Run & Walk is coming back to the beautiful city of South Pasadena! The 5K portion of the event Run is fast and flat. The first half of the 10K covers the same ground as the 5K, with the second half on a challenging, hilly course through South Pasadena’s Monterey Hills. Note the new 10K finish – after the Snake Trail, runners will head south on Meridian and turn left at the aquatic center to finish back on Diamond St.
100% of the proceeds benefit the South Pasadena High School (SPHS) Tiger Booster Club to support over 50 clubs, activities and teams so our students can enjoy a wide range of athletic, artistic and academic experiences. Funds raised through the Tiger Run, Tiger bingo, sponsorships, and donations help pay for scholarships, equipment, facilities, team travel and more.
From band to badminton, jazz to journalism, volleyball to Virtual Business, and the Yosemite trip to yearbook, the Booster Club supports the extracurricular activities that broaden the horizons of all our students.

The 5k is pretty flat and fast. The 10k has 2 big hills that makes the run more fun and challenging.
Most of the runners show up 15 min. before the race starts which I don’t recommend because if you’re doing race day packet pick up you’ll need extra time to find out which room in which building inside the school has the bibs.
Once the race starts, it’s fun and there is plenty of volunteers on the course, but don’t expect a finishers medal at the end.
