All the different loops and turns can make one worry about getting lost but to the race director’s credit with the course markings I never did. I highly recommend the race because of just how beautiful the course is, running through redwood forests, with views from up top of the Pacific Ocean, Russian River, Pomo Canyon and surrounding hills. 7k of vert for a 50k is more than average so it is challenging but you’re well rewarded! Thanks to all the volunteers and everyone one involved, you did good.
