The Snow Moon race has a daytime 5K option and nighttime races of various distances. To get the full experience of the race I would recommend the night session. But for me this year, the daytime event fit better in my schedule and I’m glad I could do it. Coming in first (and setting a course record in the process) didn’t hurt my perspective of my time either 🙂 Depending on the weather, footing can be tricky with melting/refreezing on the trails but this year the trails were in good shape with only a few problem spots.
