To start this was a very confusing race to sign up for. There was little communication unless you requested. There was a site to register to receive information but it didn’t work. The packet pickup was easy and the organization race day was easy. The course wasn’t very scenic at all but it was flat so if your looking for a PR you can probably do it on this course. Aid stations were ok just every 5k. Crowd support was small for a. Ity this size. I believe the course was a little long. The finer medal also was quite bland for a race that has been going since 1931.

This is a great marathon with lots of spectators. The course is pretty tough, running through the city with bridges and lots of turns. The finish line in the stadium is really special. The locals cheer like they know you, and if your friends and family are up for it they can take the subway to multiple viewing points on the course.
