This was first trail race and wow was it tough! The race organizers tell you upfront it is more like 28 miles (28.5 on my watch.) Very well organized – started on time. I wish they started it in waves though because there was a major bottle neck once we got onto the trail. The volunteers were so nice and really amazing! Aid stations stocked with PB&J, chips, pickles, candy, (one had donuts!) and even more food. At the finish they served us warm bowls of food from CAVA. The medal is nice and the shirt is short sleeve. My shirt did not fit but they let me swap it out at the end for my size. Overall a very fun race. They did have a 50K option as well.
