Great long sleeves Brooks shirt!! First 2 yrs it was a 1/4 zip!
Well organized! Course well marked. A few straight aways that if you are at the front or back of the pack you might be a bit unsure about. Just keep going, though, until you see the next turn arrow. Turns were all clearly marked.
Mostly Scenic paved trails running through the Univ of Northern Iowa campus and Cedar Valley trail system. LOVED this much better than running thru city streets or random neighborhoods.
Easy Pkg on race day.
Beer and pizza among other things at the finish line. Ohhhh the soft cookies!!!
Course a bit hilly, but we’re from Houston where the only hills we have are street curbs! I gave the course a 3 shoe rating for difficulty. Maybe a 3.5 is more accurate? Mile 12’ish ends with a sizable hill.
Beautiful time of year so typically should be cool start temps!
Missing crowd support, but this is only Yr 3 for this race. Excited to watch this race grow over the yrs!
Limited bathrooms on the course. I believe only 2, but you run by both of them twice on the out and back. Could be wrong on this count?
The local farmers market is usually taking place when you finish so can stroll thru there afterwards at the Park 1 block away.
Great cause (pancreatic cancer) to honor an amazing runner, Scott Sterrett! #run4Scott
Beautiful course on Cedar Valley trails
