The race route passes by several historical landmarks in the city of São Paulo.
The course is difficult, with the first part having many curves and rolling hills. The second half is predominantly flat.
The weather on the course is usually very pleasant, with temperatures between 10-15C at the start. However, the last hour of the course often has temperatures close to 20-23C.
It is not the fastest route to make time, but it is worth it for the opportunity to explore some of São Paulo’s most famous tourist attractions while running.
The race is certified and counts as an index for the main Majors. There is also a special prize for the first 100 finishers in the Marathon and Half Marathon.
