This course starts in Goleta’s Calle Real Center and ends at Leadbetter Beach, traversing one of Santa Barbara’s most active neighborhoods, following scenic bike paths, and unique communities. The new course is perfect for highly competitive and casual runners alike to enjoy.

Packet pickup was a breeze and a fairly decent size. Pre-paid $10 bucks for parking and no one even checked to see if anyone paid on race morning, so that was a rip off. The course was very scenic with some rolling hills and one fairly steep hill. The finish line party was pretty good with Firestone Walker beer. The t-shirt and medal need some serious work. Shirt was cotton and the medal was very uninspiring.
