This race was everything rolled into one. The course was challenging, it was scenic and it was something that I am glad that I did. Santa Barbara was absolutely stunning and such a great place to tour around in. The wines, shops and restaurants well worth it. You Gotta Do It!!!!

Challenging in what way? The website does not show elevation, so is it that?

I believe it was about the 6 mile mark, "The Cork Screw Hill" O.M.G.!!!!! I train for hills - however, this hill was a definite character builder. It felt like… MORE

I believe it was about the 6 mile mark, "The Cork Screw Hill" O.M.G.!!!!! I train for hills - however, this hill was a definite character builder. It felt like a 10 mile climb that does plateau, but then gets hilly again. Beautiful scenery as you are climbing and beautiful countryside...prepare yourself for the hills!! Hope this helps...have fun!!! :-) LESS
