I did this event last year and I have already signed up for 2023. It’s a good flat & fast course. Not much for post-party or food but they give away a good medal and since I placed 1st in my age division, I also received a nice trophy.
The shirt was also very nice.
The timing is good and the course is through the woods which is nice.
Not a big race but it is growing.

This marathon is an out and back course along a mostly paved walking trail that runs parallel to the sun coast parkway. I think the trail is the sun coast trail. It’s a flat, fast course. This was my first marathon to finish and I really enjoyed it. The weather was great for early January. The race director and his wife are super nice and helpful.

The long sleeve shirt was the best I have gotten. Right up there with Hot Chocolate jacket. Medal was good, as was the placement medals. Good things: 1. Race was … MORE
The long sleeve shirt was the best I have gotten. Right up there with Hot Chocolate jacket. Medal was good, as was the placement medals.
Good things:
1. Race was timed to the nano second. Perfect Chip Timing!
2. Treatment and respect given to the runners by the race director and his staff was excellent. I asked him some questions and he was there with a smile on his face and answered all questions.
3. Course was out and back and well marked.
4. Water station at the half way mark.
5. Flat & Fast course. So good, I signed up the next say on runningintheusa.com for 2022 race next year.
6. Good snacks at the end which included drinks and water.
Bad Things: Absolutely nothing!
I wish more timing companies cared about runners as much as these guys did, Good job guys.
