The course itself is great, flat and fast. It’s a small race with just a few dozen running the half. No age group awards and, oddly, you get your medal in the swag bag before you even start the race. There’s something satisfying about getting a medal after running and there’s really not a lot of fanfare at the end. The mile markers were all wrong, with the Mile 13 marker at around 12.25 miles in. There were only a couple of water stations on the course, so you’d be advised to run with a pack.
