This was a nice small race in Prince William National Park. The course was well supported with aid stations and the volunteers out on the course were great. The post-race food was typical, however, it was placed before the finishing line which made for a nice cheering section when you arrived at the mat. The only negative comment I have is there was not one porta-potty on the entire course. Some would and I am sure they will say, “nature is your bathroom.” That’s great for the men, not always the women.
I would run another event with this group due to its laid back approach and for the simple fact they give back to the community from every event they put on.
