The Race Production was awesome! The trail was well marked, easy to follow, and absolutely beautiful. There is no down time on this trail. Make sure you train on plenty of long climbs because the 5 in this race will destroy your legs. The hand made wooded finishers awards are great. Can not wait to complete in this race again.
Beautifully Brutal (Says it all)

This race is great… produced well, marked great, wonderful volunteers, and gonna whoop your butt! The 50k has the best views in the Gorge, but also the toughest trail in the second half of the race… so no coasting in to the finish line! Get yourself properly trained (as is necessary for most trail races) and you’ll love this race and want to do it again! This was my first 50k and plan to do it again next year. Stats- about 5700’ of vertical gain, 6 aid stations, start and finish at same spot, about 250 total runners (combined with 25k), temps were mid-20’s in am and mid-40’s in pm.
