Pulse Running is excited to bring you the Rock N Brew! All three races start at the park in Avimor and finish at the Spring Creek Brewery for food, music, fun and a cold beer! The cutoff for all races is 4PM.
The 50K starts at the park and runs to Sheep Rock and back at the Brewery. The first ‘Ram’ and ‘Ewe’ to the Rock gets $100!! **You must finish the race to be eligible. The course has 4625ft elevation gain. There are 4 aid stations at 4.3M, 12.3M (water only), 20.5M and 26.7M.
The 28K course is a looped course that takes you through the trails in the Avimor foothills and brings you back to the Spring Creek Brewing Company where the party is! The elevation gain is 2323ft. There are three aid stations at 4.3M, 7.1M (water only), and 12.8M.
The 10 Mile course is a smaller loop that winds you through the trails in the Avimor foothills and brings you back to the Spring Creek Brewing Company for the party! The elevation gain is 1292ft. There is one aid station at 4.3M. This is a green race so you will need to bring a collapsible cup for the aid stations.

I enjoyed running some new trails in the Avimore area but it is just too hot to have a trail race in August. I enjoyed the scenery as it was all new to me. The shirt was a tank and way too big. Unfortunately I won’t be wearing it. The medals were cute. Seemed to be a bit of confusion re. the post race beer that was included. Nothing was clear that you actually had to go inside the restaurant to get it. The aid stations were well stocked. Overall I liked it but don’t feel it would be a race to repeat in the future.
