This year’s race was at Irvine Regional Park and originally a trail race, but due to the recent Canyon Fire 2, the trails are closed. The course was modified to take place on roads and bike paths instead to give the trails time to heal. It was still a nice course which ran through the park and you can see the destruction from the fire. There are a couple hills, but most of then course was in the shade. Jeri and her team of volunteers put on a good race. Nice wood medals, tech shirts, plenty of post-race snacks, and a raffle.

This year’s race was at Irvine Regional Park and originally a trail race, but due to the recent Canyon Fire 2, the trails are closed. The course was modified to take place on roads and bike paths instead to give the trails time to heal. It was still a nice course which ran through the park and you can see the destruction from the fire. There are a couple hills, but most of then course was in the shade.
