The start/finish line overlooked the beach and the 5K course was entirely along a paved walking/biking path. It was a bit hillier than I expected, but the downhills made up for the challenging uphills. Costumes were encouraged and they offered candy at the water stations. The communications were outstanding from start to finish and the medals were beautiful! The only drawback was that there weren’t very clear instructions about the costume contest and none of the volunteers seemed to know anything about it. Other than that, everything was well-organized and efficient.

The start/finish line overlooked the beach and the 5K course was entirely along a paved walking/biking path. It was a bit hillier than I expected, but the downhills made up for the challenging uphills. Costumes were encouraged and they offered candy at the water stations.
