Although I’ve done many Ragnar Relay events, this was my first Ragnar Trail (well, with the exception of the Ragnar Trail Experiment… but that was an experience unto itself)!
In terms of the running, I loved it – trail running is awesome, and the beauty of the desert is always amazing. The ‘camp’ experience was unique. I missed the ‘team support’ during each leg of the race, since you’re out running solo, but it was nice to come back to a fun campsite and relax with your team members and others, rather than rushing into the van to get to the next transition. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d defiantly do another Ragnar Trail Relay.
