4th time running this race. Beautiful course starting and ending in downtown Jim Thorpe, PA. Mostly single track trail with roots, rocks, etc. A bit of everything: starts and ends on streets, mostly trail, some grass and cinder around lake. First approx 4 mi are gradual uphill. Good news, last 4 miles all downhill! Usually around 4th of July weekend so can be very warm. Lucky this year it rained, cool 65 degrees. Well run race that benefits local churches.

Mostly single track trail with roots, rocks, etc. A bit of everything: starts and ends on streets, mostly trail, some grass and cinder around lake. First approx 4 mi are gradual uphill.
