At the close of the Battle of Cowpens in 1781, two American officers—confident in victory—raced for the ultimate prize, a British three-pounder cannon, called the “Grasshopper”. The Race for the Grasshopper course is a single loop on the paved road at Cowpens Battlefield.

The weather panned out for the better as it was supposed to be raining- but the roads were slick so you needed to be aware. The woods are nice and I am sure it would be lovelier in the spring.

Really liked the camo long sleeve t shirt and the engraved pocket knife if you were top 3. LOVE that there are bathrooms to use. Will likely run this one again.
