Come join us at the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park for a 10K or 5K Trail Run. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and wildlife of the park. The course is on the Power Line Trail. It is a smooth mixed surface trail of mostly dirt and gravel. The 5K course and park are dog friendly, so bring your furry friend if they like to run with you. The 10K course goes into Carlton Reserve and that area is not dog friendly.
The event is race directed and timed by Beach Bum Timing. All donations and partial proceeds will go to the North Port High School Track Team and Holly’s Hope Foundation. There are automatic discounts for Local SWFL Runsignup club members. If your club is not on runsignup, check with your club leadership or email [email protected] for a discount code.
Start times: 10K at 7:30 a.m. 5K at 7:40 a.m.
Awards Ceremony (in-person 10K &5K): Awards will be presented immediately following each race to the top male finisher and top female finisher in the following categories: Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Master, Veterans, Overall Youth. Age group awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the following groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.
5K only – Overall Dog will receive a special award.

Breakfast afterwards and snacks. Not much to look at except fields, but the quietness and weather made it great!
