Day 1 : This is the first time I’ve tried to run 6 full marathons in 6 days. It was a brisk morning and I felt good, thus I went for it and tried to run my hardest knowing I would taper the remaining 5 days. There was about 50 marathon runners and similar numbers for the half marathoners. The course was run around a very scenic lake. 7 laps of 3.6 miles loops plus about 0.6 mile out and 0.7 mile back. Packet pick up and aid station was set up at the start/finish where there was lots of fresh cooked food and water to fuel up with. A nice t shirt and a small medal in the shape of the state of Maine. Would consider going back again.

Overall Rating: Really good. Enjoyed the longer loops (3.5ish miles).
Course Difficulty: Flat except for one highway bridge. Pleasant view across a city retention pond.
Course Scenery: Not a lot to look at, it a couple of friends and I did see different things every time we went around, so it kept things interesting.
Race Production: Great. Excellent food, and plenty of it at the one aid station. No frills bob pickup and start.
Race Swag: Good. Nice state shaped medal, and a dry blend t shirt.
My Performance: It was ok for the third of 8 in a row. No complaints.
I had initially planned this as a day off, but the RD happened to be running at NY earlier in the week and talked me into it (you other runners know how hard that was). Glad I decided to do it, there is something about taking on an entire Challenge and completing it.
