I live in Clearwater, so this is my home town race. The course is beautiful, to be able to watch the sun rise while on the bridges of Clearwater beach is an amazing experience. The post race party ends before the race is completely over, this becomes a problem for those who are walkers during the race. This race represents Clearwater very well, and dos a great job in promoting the city. It also raises funds for our local youth foundation. I will do this race every year for that reason alone.

The race is a challenging course for Florida with 3 large bridges to cross. There is noticeable elevation on the course. An added challenge is that it is generally still quite hot during this time of year.
The medals and shirt are nice and the post-race festivities are enjoyable.
Good Debut Race
For the first running of this race, it was pretty smoothly run and shows good potential. I will consider running this again in the future. Well done. MORE
