The race was great! Of course road running is tougher on you and your joints so get the proper shoes. Otherwise the temperatures were perfect (in my opinion) for the colder months and when you’re on that bridge it’s quite the feeling! 🙂

This race is so unique! Starting off in the Blue Wahoos stadium was such a perk, with plenty of parking, clean bathrooms, and the opportunity to be on the turf of the baseball field. The course was well planned, with wide paths, plenty of water stations, and GORGEOUS views when crossing both bridges. The food and drinks at the after party were great! And I really loved that the awards were handmade locally. All in all, a really fun race that I’m looking forward to doing again!

Came from Houston (9+ hr drive) to run the 2 ocean bridges. Definitely a unique venue, but the bridges can be tough especially if there is any wind coming off the ocean.

Everything that comes with the registration felt more like a half marathon, than a 15k/5k. Great job to the crew that puts this event together!
Race ends at the beach with bars/restaurants for your family and friends to enjoy as spectators. Really good after race/party venue!
