This was the first year they moved it from Tavares to Haines City and the course was a million times better. Weather in Feb in Florida is great for running … MORE
This was the first year they moved it from Tavares to Haines City and the course was a million times better. Weather in Feb in Florida is great for running and the course was mostly flat (hill in the first mile). A stretch of the course is on compacted clay and was faster than the asphalt portion. Great scenery running on clay roads through orange groves. it was a smaller race and at many parts there were few people around me which contributed to the overall feel of the race which was awesome. 10/10 would recommend!
