The Noyo Headlands Race offers a spectacularly beautiful course on a paved trail along the stunning Mendocino Coast, with coastal flora, fauna, and a beautiful ocean view!.
Enjoy some of the most remarkable scenery Northern California has to offer and have a great time. The trail consists of asphalt and soft track. It is fairly flat, well maintained and commonly used by runners year-round.
We are now certified for a full marathon, #CA1009TEB and a half marathon, #CA1010TEB.
This race will benefit the Mendocino Coast Healthcare Foundation (MCHFoundation) in its mission to support health and wellness organizations, along our beautiful Mendocino Coast. MCHFoundation provides critical and timely support through grants and volunteerism that directly aid the mission and needs of our clinics, hospital, volunteer fire departments, and health and wellness agencies.

There were wonderful ocean views on the course. Parts of the race were nice, but a lot of the time the paved path was broken up and was uncomfortable to run on. There were very few participants, so after about the first 4-5 miles there really weren’t any other runners around. I probably wouldn’t run this one again.
