My wife and I decided on our visit from NY to do your 2018 4 mile race on July 4th 2018 in Nashville, TN. Maybe we are spoiled by our local NY races, but the amenities at the end of the race were appalling. To not have numerous FREE refreshments at the end of the race was down right crazy. You cannot have people pay for items to refresh themselves at the end of a race.
You may argue that you wanted to keep costs down. But in NY, the cost of living is much higher than TN and they charge the isame $ for a race. We are always supplied with tons of FREE refreshments at the end of the race.
The weather was brutal. Obviously, there was nothing you could do about that. But that only magnified the poor treatment of the running community that was there that day.
