The course was moderately challenging with some steep rolling hills toward the back end of the loop. This is definitely not a PR-friendly course, but you should do fine if you manage the course well. The race route is through a suburban neighborhood that has a few views of the lake. The 10K route is twice around the 5K loop. There was no aid station for water which would have been very welcome at the halfway mark for the 10K. The finisher medals were nice but the awards for overall and age group winners were very disappointing.
