The race started and ended in Emerson Park and got the rest of the miles through one of Midland’s nicest mature neighborhoods adjacent to the hospital. This was a fundraiser for the local chapter of Young Life. A lot of businesses donated items for raffle prizes. It seems everyone went away a winner. It was also a part of a series of races put on by the Community Center in the Element Series. Points were awarded based on your finishing place in your age group and tallied at the end of the year. This helped me win my age group, so I’m happy!

The race started and ended in Emerson Park and got the rest of the miles through one of Midland’s nicest mature neighborhoods adjacent to the hospital. This was a fundraiser for the local chapter of Young Life. A lot of businesses donated items for raffle prizes. It seems everyone went away a winner.
