Small race, but very well organized event. Route was mostly a beautiful residential community with manicured lawns. Flat course. There was a stretch where we ran against two-way traffic that didn’t feel safe. We were too close to the fast moving vehicles and only separated by small cones. Especially where the traffic rounded the corner and drove next to the runners going outbound. Hydration was plentiful and very cold. Nice and refreshing with temperatures above 80 for most of the half. I still recommend this small race if you are accomplishing the 50 states. I travelled/ran with a group of friends.

First and it will be the last time doing it. The route was fine until you reach some kind of waste water or landfill it smelled so bad! Not only that the coned off area became so narrow only a single person could fit through it so we were trying to dodge incoming traffic. The sun was brutal af it was no joke and the medal was a complete joke. Very cheap flimsy plastic you can buy a whole bulk for like 50 cents from Amazon kind of stuff. I was very disappointed.

A small fairly well organized event. The course was “nothing to write home about! There was maybe a mile section at the start of the race that ran close to the water, otherwise it was an out and back thru the local streets with some sections that were wide but a long section that was along a narrow shoulder along the road, which made it challenging especially when the lead runners were retuning along the same section.
