MadCity Ultras is a long standing host of the USATF 100k road national championship. There is also a 50K individual and 50K relay. Timo Yanacheck, race director, and his team, give this event a very personal touch. From pre race emails to bib pickup there is great communication about any important details one would need for a successful event experience. Pre and post race swag is extra (pre-race socks and shirt, box of chocolate truffles, reusable cup if you want be cup-less during race). Medals and lots of opportunities for award swag post race for top finishers. Course highlights UW Arboretum and Wingra Lake. You will pass lakeside residential neighborhoods, marshes, prairie, duck pond, golf course and woods as you make your 10K loop around the lake. Weather can be variable in Madison in April so be prepared.

Of course the first thing I checked was your time and... DAMN, well done! A speedy 50K and top-5 finish among the men, very nice homecoming. And an average finish time of 4:50:08 for this race tells me it's not attracting a lot of shufflers. Hope you're resting and recovering well Bill, you earned it! LESS
