An early start on what promised to be a hot July 4th, the field was not very crowded and the course was clean and wide. Most of the path had a dirt/ gravel shoulder that you could use to save your ankles. This is my second summertime race in Colorado and I’m really loving those iced towels at the end. All in all, a race worth repeating.

An early start on what promised to be a hot July 4th, the field was not very crowded and the course was clean and wide. Most of the path had a dirt/ gravel shoulder that you could use to save your ankles. This is my second summertime race in Colorado and I’m really loving those iced towels at the end. All in all, a race worth repeating.
