The annual Log Hill Hustle 5K & 10K is a scenic fun run/walk hosted by Fortuna Tierra Club in support of local education. Set against the stunning backdrop of the San Juan Mountains and Cimarron ranges, both courses begin and end at the beautiful Divide Ranch and Club, winding along gently rolling, fully paved roads through one of Colorado’s most picturesque communities.
Whether you’re racing for a personal best or enjoying a relaxed walk with friends, you’ll be treated to crisp mountain air, spectacular vistas, and the warm encouragement of enthusiastic volunteers and course monitors. A water station keeps participants hydrated, and clearly marked routes ensure a smooth experience for all.
But the real finish line is the future. Proceeds from the Log Hill Hustle directly fund scholarships for Ridgway High School graduates and alumni, helping students pursue higher education and career training.
Stick around after the race for a complimentary continental breakfast, awards ceremony, and fantastic door prizes—because every mile you run makes a meaningful difference. This smooth, rolling 5k course is absolutely stunning. With gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains (including Sneffels) and a paved course through a peaceful neighborhood with just enough uphill to make you work a little bit, it’s the perfect Saturday morning 5K/10K. The late August weather is beautiful, and the race directors put on a great event! Breakfast and coffee are included in your race registration which was very appreciated, and the camaraderie of the participants and the hosts is simply unmatched! We are visitors to the area but can’t wait to run this one again and support Ridgway’s local students. The course was also extremely stroller/child-friendly.
