Scenic and challenging. there were some very steep and rocky technical climbs as well as descents. Most of the runners had poles, I did not and about half way through a very kind runner gave me one of hers to use for the remainder of the race. I am so grateful to her! Course markings were well done and many stations with plenty of electrolytes, water and support. Kind and friendly people, great swag (the backpack was awesome and I use it all the time!) Post race, there were only instant noodles but we had gotten soaked from the mist and quickly got cold when we stopped running so the hot noodles were very comforting. The views were fabulous and worth it. I was sick from allergic reaction to a bug bite so I was very weak and slow but I enjoyed it immensely regardless I loved this run and you will too!
