The race takes you through pristine native eucalyptus forests and pine plantations .the trails range from sealed to gravel roads to single track trails. The majority on fire trails up and down hills that just keep coming. Runners are rewarded with great views and a fast down hill 1.5 km finish if your legs can handle it.
There are well placed drink stations. The race is green so you need to carry your own water container.
You can down load a finishers certificate. The event is a fundraiser for the Womboin Rural Fire Brigade, so no medals. it you can see what the event has funded over the years.
The event is organised by one of Australia’s premier Ultra Runners, Pam Musten.
