This is a tiny, hilly, point to point race along the northern coast of Maui that ends on a single lane road. We ran on a road that wasn’t closed, but there wasn’t much traffic. The small community of locals that hosted the race were very welcoming. It was a happy coincidence that this race lined up with a vacation I had planned.
