This is my second year running and I enjoyed it just as much as I did the first year.
The course isn’t too bad. You go up and down hills for the majority of the race with one or two steeper hills but it isn’t too bad. It’s all on a paved path going around the park so not difficult terrain. The finish has a little hill so save some energy for that!
The production and swag are pretty much what you would expect. You get a cute long sleeve tee (I think if you do any jingle bell run it’s essentially the same shirt, they just add the teams to the back that fundraisers up to a certain point). The medal is cute and everything seemed pretty organized. After the race they have hot chocolate and some fun little tents to visit.
Be prepared for cold weather! You definitely warm up by the first mile but it’s been cold cold the last two years!
