The  Jamestown Half Marathon is a 13.1 mile course commemorating the beginning of America. The race starts and finishes in the vicinity of the Amblers House (Vermillion Building).  The Jamestown Half Marathon follows a uniquely American course, winding through Jamestown Settlement, circling Jamestown Island, and traversing the Greensprings and Virginia Capital Trail. This flat, scenic course is where America began. Your every footfall will echo with the steps of those that came before and give you the chance to make your own history.

Since 1975, Literacy for Life has empowered adults by building foundational skills for success in life and work.
