A Coastal Crush
Along the Florida coast lies the storied Panama City Beach. Swim
Featuring crystal clear water, athletes will begin their journey in the Gulf for this one-lap swim. Strong currents, riptides, and occasional marine life are possible; a universal flag system is used locally. The swim course is in a clockwise direction.

Bike
The one-lap course is known to be flat and fast as it traverses the intercoastal waterways into Pine Log State Forest, but don’t be surprised to encounter some rolling hills. As the day progresses light winds will challenge you on your return to transition. Expect a fast bike split and be prepared to stay in your aerobars, as that’s where you will stay for the majority of the ride.

Run
This three-lap course is one of the flattest run courses on the IRONMAN circuit and is very spectator-friendly. You’ll traverse the coast and take in the scenic views with temps typically starting off in the mid-50’s warming up to the mid-70’s by mid-day. Finish at the Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort and enjoy the rest of your day in the Florida sunshine along the beautiful emerald coast.
