This was my first-ever half-marathon and I think any future events I run in will have some tough shoes to fill! Beautiful scenery, all on a paved pedestrian trail. The course was quite flat, with a few small hills out by the turn-around. Swag was fun, including a hefty medal and a lovely pint glass with the race logo. A great first race experience!

Beautiful course on the rail trail (paved), very flat, although my Garmin showed some elevation. Perhaps it’s very gradual. Despite being a new race, it’s well organized, fully supported and the swag is great (tote, pint glass, t-shirt, medal, stickers etc). Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a PR too.
