This race is more of a themed event as opposed to a competitive event. The course is okay, but nothing spectacular, they do have mile markers as well as pacers. Finish line has water, hot cider, and caramel apples, it appears that they had other snacks (trail mix & granola bars) but ran out rather early. The swag is a quality quarter zip or long sleeve, a mug, and a finisher medal. They have ample water stations but no Gels/fuel throughout.

This was a pretty basic out and back course mostly on the Oak Leaf trail. The weather was perfect. The leaves were falling. When you finish you get your medal, a nice mug, hot cider, and an Affy Tapple (caramel apple). This is an identical (for the most part) course to the Brew City Half Marathon put on by the same company just with a different start and finish point. The “shirt” was a tech fabric 3/4 zip pullover. It’s a nice race if you are looking for a half marathon in the Milwaukee area. Good race production.
